DevOps Engineer IV

  • Cambia runs multiple businesses in the healthcare space. (cambiahealth.com).
  • As a DevOps Engineer IV, I assisted dev teams to build out their apps, onboarded new AWS services and other technologies, mentored junior engineers, and acted as a lead to direct work to junior engineers
  • Architected AWS cloud solutions for business unit development teams, developed IAC to deploy their cloud infrastructure, navigated network, security, and availability requirements, acted as AWS SME, and provided ongoing support for those teams
  • Evaluated, tested and onboarded new AWS services, DevOps tools and technologies. Made sure they complied with security and HIPAA requirements. Examples: Cloudfront,Workspaces,Image Builder,AWS Backup,LEX,Terraform
  • As the lead DevOps Engineer, I filled in for the manager when needed, directed work to junior staff members, mentored junior engineers, and contributed to company wide technology decisions.
  • Built and maintained Ec2 Image build process to produce AMI’s for linux and windows that complied with the configuration and security requirements of Cambia.
  • Migrated hundreds of Jenkins projects to Gitlab CI/CD
  • Identified and created plans to eliminate tech debt and migrate processes to new technologies
  • Assisted with the management and patching, upgrade of AWS EKS systems.
